Stories from Oaxaca, Mexico

Travel through Oaxaca with me discovering life, culture, food, and history through color.

A woman standing on a street in front of a pink building with flowering trees and a black fence. She wears a white shirt, distressed denim shorts, and sandals, with her hands in her pockets and an expression of confidence.

This trip began with a desire to escape the lockdown of the 2021 remnants of the global pandemic. I’d always loved Mexican culture, and with a deep desire to learn more about natural dyed textiles; I chose to make Oaxaca my destination. A month in this city just wasn’t enough. From the food, people, history, and culture, I left Oaxaca with a full heart and a new found appreciation for life. Enjoy the videos, the storeis, and the art that I created during this journey.
